The Little Reading House Academy is excited to announce the opening of our Early Literacy Microschool beginning Fall 2026.

Designed for young learners who benefit from a smaller, highly supportive learning environment, our program focuses on building strong literacy foundations through structured, research-based instruction in a calm and nurturing setting.

Our literacy-focused microschool is ideal for students who may benefit from:

individualized attention,
a lower student-to-teacher ratio,
additional support in early reading development,
or a more personalized and language rich learning environment.

Program Details

Kindergarten Cohort
Limited to 4 - 6 Students
Monday–Thursday
9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Fall 2026 – Spring 2027

Instruction is grounded in the Science of Reading and includes all five essential components of reading instruction:

phonemic awareness
phonics
fluency
vocabulary
reading comprehension

Additional areas of instruction and support include:

structured literacy instruction
guided reading
handwriting and written expression
oral language development
auditory processing skills
language enrichment
sensory and movement breaks

The Little Reading House Academy believes in a proactive approach to literacy instruction. Through early intervention, individualized support, and explicit foundational reading instruction, our goal is to help students build strong reading skills early in their educational journey in order to reduce future reading difficulties and support long-term academic confidence and success.

Enrollment is intentionally limited to maintain a highly individualized and supportive learning environment.
